BeBot’s Bad Day

Rather than put blind people in danger, A Life Worth Living animated their life experiences while using a white cane in the community so we can be aware of the hazards that can be easily prevented.  Whether it is objects left on the sidewalk, garbage bags, low branches, truck tailgates open over the sidewalk or low hanging tree branches, a trip out in the community can cause unnecessary pain. Canes broken by cars while waiting at the curb, cars parked over the cross walk so BeBot had to walk around into oncoming traffic or pedestrians pulling on their cane to lead it across the street is not unusual.  At the grocery store, BeBot is knocked over and has to get on it’s knees to search for the dropped cane.  That’s not all, the way home adds another serious injury experience.
