A Life Worth Living created the animated robot, BeBot, to humorously teach the problems and environmental hazards white cane users may face. Our goal is to help people assisting someone with a white cane to know the rules to travel safely at home and out in the community.
Joel Snyder audio-described our production of BeBot’s Bad Day a fact-based animation on the challenges of walking in the community with a white cane. In fact, the story line is based on real-life experiences of Stevie Wonder’s good friend and the brother of J. J. Jackson, Milton Jackson. We also included some of Jeff Healey’s experiences.
